A preparation for young dancers of 13 - max. 20 years to train specifically for the audition(s) to a professional institute.
Our pre-training is ideal for those who

* are interested to make a further education for professional dance at a profi-school.
Dance is coming up in popularity in Austria, but this mainly in the leisure sector. Unfortunately, there is a big part missing in the Austrian dance scene: the world of professional dance. More and more young people are showing great interest in dance, want to go on as a profi-education at an institute for professional dance training (dance stage) at home or abroad, depending on the style of dance. Institutes of this type are for example the Bruckner University Linz (former Bruckner Conservatory), Iwanson Center in Germany, "Le Center National de Danse Contemporaire", and some others. These institutions, however, require very high level. To be admitted, is a so-called "Audition", an entrance examination necessary, for which they already need a very high level of knowledge. To reach this level, candidates have to be specifically prepared. It is exactly this preparing work which is missing in Austria. PerformDance fills this gap at the highest level. Under the direction of Ulrike Bauer and Bruno Genty PerformDance provides a preparatory training - a specialized curriculum to the professional level - with partial cooperation with the Institute for Dance Arts (IDA), the Anton Bruckner University Linz.
Bruno Genty has been a longstanding partner of PerformDance, shares his field of work in France with Austria. It is really important for the Austrian dance scene to have the support of such important dancers in order to help to raise the quality of the Austrian dance scene and got out of the amateur stage.
Bruno Genty is not only one of the best teachers in PerformDance, but also a lecturer at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz and constituting an important link between PerformDance and the Bruckner University.
The pre-training requires very high level.
To be included in this pre-training it's necessary for every student to make at
PerformDance an audition, which consists of 3 parts:
Training in modern dance
Training in classical dance
1 solo, that each candidate prepare himself (in any dance style)
