The seminars are mainly based on 2 areas:

1. Pedagogy / Methodology / Didactics

correct analysing of movements, precise explanation where a movement starts and where (how) to continue the movement, professional correction, flexible working with students

2. Personality Training

Training Manager: Ulrike Bauer, Bruno Genty, Ben Rufin

Professional knowledge is the least what pedagogues need, also as well important is personal charisma, his own authentic personality, the ability to present yourself.

Further subjects:    

* Movement Analysing: each movement has a special start, a special development, dynamic, weight-shifting, support    

* Music: Basic forms of music theory, to analyze music  

* Dance and cultural history: an overview of different dance styles in their development    

* Voice, and present training: to make possible a good voice and maximum voice volume  

* Rhythm: precise movement requires precise timing, rhythm, which produces tension instead of monotonicity    

* Anatomy: linked to the material of pedagogy and personal training    

* Choreography: incl. notation of choreography. many pedagogues have also to organize student performances. The PerformDance - Choreography training is based on the principles of space, dynamics, contrast, optical tension,...... - an important difference between the combination of movement in class and a choreography that is created for the stage
